20 TV Series to binge while in Chemo, surgerical recovery or for plain old couch surfing

Lying around feeling less than optimal has been my life for the past seven months.  So easy to watch TV was my priority. I couldn't really handle anything scary, so Stranger Things is noticeably absent. But since I've watched so many shows, I wanted to share my easy watch or addictive series with you. Helping you to cut through the masses of shows and endless scrolling.

Here's my Top 20 of 2022

TVNZ

Girlfriends guide to divorce

Starstruck - Written and Starred in by Kiwi Rose Matafeo

Everything I know about love

Four Weddings and a Funeral - A Series, based on the movie.

The Split

Neon

Yellowstone

The Great

The Gilded Age

The Time Traveler’s Wife

This Way Up - Possibly one of my most favourite TV Series ever

The Sex Lives of College Girls

Prime

The Summer I turned Pretty - better than the title, but still very teenage-centric.

The Marvellous Mrs Maisel

The Pursuit of Love

Netflix

Cheer - Season One is the most fun, Season Two is a little heavier and rightly so, after one of the cast is arrested. It's a Docu-series.

Bridgerton

The Umbrella Academy

Disney

The Kardashians - I’ve never watched this before but I’m finding their new series quite fun, like candy floss for the brain.

1883 - quite full on and violent but a great watch about the Oregon Trail in Pioneer America

The Dropout
